Woodcarving gives life to everything it touches

Wood-carving is as old as the world. Its initial simple forms existed for centuries giving life to different household vessels, tools, small decoration pieces, jewels, weapons, shoes, etc. In the past, people felt the need to be as close to the nature as they could, and the wood inside their houses satisfied this need.

Last 50–60 years left serious imprint on our lifestyle – as far from the nature and natural materials as possible. In many people"s minds woodcarving is associated to old folk-style houses, to something gone and archaic. In real life though the contact with the wood continues ennobling and filling with life. There is space for more warmth in any home, regardless of its furnishing style, and wood-carving is what could bring it in naturally.
